Chitwan Business Conclave

Better Chitwan is thrilled to be hosting two powerful panel discussions at the Made in Nepal Expo as part of the Chitwan Business Conclave on 30th Chaitra 2081. In Session 1 (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM), we explore a pressing question: Are we educating students for degrees—or for the future? Join us as Honourable Sumana Shrestha, Professor Sharada Thapaliya, and moderator Suman Poudel engage in a transformative dialogue on reimagining Nepal’s education system for innovation and entrepreneurship. Immediately after, in Session 2 (2:45 PM – 3:45 PM), we dive into “Is IT in Nepal a game changer or just another hype?”—a timely conversation with digital leaders decoding Nepal’s evolving tech landscape. Both sessions promise bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to shaping a smarter, more sustainable future.

On the 31st of Chaitra, a session titled “Rooted in Chitwan | Thriving Beyond” will be moderated by journalist Rajesh Ghimire. The panel will feature Mandil Thapa, Founder of GM Gypsum Nepal; Arpana Pradhan Bhandari, CEO of Chitwan Business Mart; and Prativa Shrestha, Proprietor of Annapurna Agro Food Products.

Kicking off the new year 2085, a dynamic session titled “Disrupting the Norm: Inside the Minds of Gen-Z Entrepreneurs” will be moderated by Mr. Nabin Thapa. The discussion will include insights from Roshan Oja, Co-Founder of Kanduk Industry; Prabina Shah, Founder of Art Space; and Prashant Phuyal, Founder of Blanxer Nepal.

Also on the same day, Mr. Dipesh Tripathi, Founder of The Nepali Comment, will lead a session titled “Offbeat and On Track | Building a Career Beyond the Mainstream.” This conversation will include theater artist Anjan Pradip and musician Bimal Lamichhane as guest speakers.
