Bharatpur Metropolitan City, in collaboration with Better Chitwan, is excited to announce a captivating video contest to promote tourism under the theme “Visit Bharatpur.” We invite all talented filmmakers and enthusiastic individuals to participate in this fantastic opportunity to showcase the charm and allure of our beautiful city to the world.

1. Theme: “Visit Bharatpur” – Create a video that highlights the unique attractions, cultural heritage, tourism infrastructure, natural beauty, and experiences that Bharatpur has to offer as a remarkable tourist destination.
2. Video Length: The video should be a maximum of 3 minutes.
3. Eligibility: The contest is open to all individuals who are passionate about filmmaking and storytelling. Participants must be 15 years or older to enter the contest.
4. Copyrights: All submitted videos must be original and free from any copyrighted material. Participants must ensure that they have the full rights to use any music, images, or other content included in their videos. By submitting their entries, participants grant Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Better Chitwan the right to use the videos for promotional purposes, with due credit given to the creators.
5. Submission Deadline: The last date for video submission is 11th August 2023. Late entries will not be considered.
6. Entry Method: Videos can be recorded using any electronic devices such as cameras, smartphones, or camcorders.
7. Language: Participants are free to use any language for their narration or dialogues. However, videos in languages other than English or Nepali must include English subtitles.
8. Judging Criteria: Videos will be evaluated based on creativity, presentation, cinematography, adherence to the theme, and overall impact.
9. Prizes: Exciting prizes await the winners, including cash rewards (Winner: NRs.8000/-, First Runner up: NRs. 6000/- and Second Runner up: NRs. 4000/-) and recognition of their work. The top selected videos will be featured in official tourism campaigns to promote Bharatpur as a premier travel destination.

Submission Procedure:

Participants can submit their videos through the following methods:

– Email: Send your video file or a downloadable link to [email protected] with the subject line “Visit Bharatpur Video Contest Submission.”

– Physical Drop-off: Visit the Bharatpur Metropolitan City Office or Better Chitwan Office and submit your video in a USB drive or DVD, clearly labeled with your name and contact information.

– All participants are required to provide their full name, contact details, and a brief description of their video along with their submission.

– Participants are solely responsible for any legal issues related to copyright infringement or any other violations in their videos.

– Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Better Chitwan reserve the right to disqualify any video that does not adhere to the contest’s guidelines and theme.
