Successful Completion of ‘100 Students Scholarship Program 2023’ in Madi and Bharatpur

Better Chitwan, in collaboration with Chitwan Aid Trust CATUK, is delighted to announce the successful completion of the distribution of ‘100 Students Scholarship Program‘ to 73 students from Madi Municipality and Bharatour Metropolitan City for the year 2023. This initiative aimed to provide educational support to 100 deserving students hailing from Chitwan, Nepal.

Distribution of Scholarships:

In the pursuit of empowering marginalized communities through education, the program benefitted a total of 34 students from Madi Municipality:

  1. Shree Rastriya Aadharbhut Bidhyalaya Dakshin Aayodhyapuri: 7 students
  2. Shree Rastriya Aadharbhut Bidhyalaya Kantipur: 4 students,
  3. Shree Janajiwan Ma Bi, Kharkhatta: 15 students
  4. Shree Ganesh Aadharbhut Bidhyalaya, Ganesh Kunja: 8 students

Furthermore, 39 students from Bharatpur Municipality were also supported:

  1. Shree Basic School Sisabas: 28 students
  2. Prembasti Higher Secondary School, Krishnapur: 11 students

Educational Assistance Provided:

Each student was provided with essential educational materials, including:

  • School Uniform
  • Hygiene Materials
  • School Bag
  • Stationaries

The provision of these items ensures that students have the necessary tools to pursue their education effectively and comfortably.

Program Objective:

The primary objective of the ‘100 Students Scholarship Program’ is to extend educational support to a minimum of 100 students from marginalized communities. By doing so, Better Chitwan and Chitwan Aid Trust CATUK aim to foster educational inclusivity and create opportunities for these students to excel academically.

Distribution Ceremony:

The distribution of scholarships and educational materials was conducted in the presence of various stakeholders, including local representatives, school management committee members, principals, and parents. This collaborative effort ensures that the scholarships are allocated to the most deserving candidates and that the community remains actively involved in the educational development of its youth.

Better Chitwan expresses its gratitude to Chitwan Aid Trust CATUK,  for its generous financial support, without which this program would not have been possible. We are committed to continuing our efforts to empower more students in the future and contribute to the overall educational upliftment of the Chitwan community.

Next we are planning to support 64 students from Devibhanjyang Rastriya Aadharbhut Bidhyalaya, Kalikhola, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, we look forward to furthering our mission of making quality education accessible to all in Chitwan.
